February 19, 2003 -- San Diego, CA -- Travel Talk RadioTM announced today that this week's program would examine the 140-mile hiking trail being built by the Sea to Sea Foundation. Starting at the Pacific Coast near Del Mar, the trail stretches all the way to the Salton Sea. Founder and President JIM (CHICO) HAGEY will join Sandy for an interesting conversation regarding the mode of transportation making a huge comeback - hiking. Also in the Studio will be KRISTEN GREENAWAY, Vice President Marketing & Development of the Sea to Sea Foundation.

This is an exciting project, that includes volunteers working on completing this traffic-free trail to sponsors like REI who are helping build awareness of local environments. "Can you imagine walking or biking 140 miles and having wonderful travelers aids along the way like restaurants and hotels," said Sandy Dhuyvetter, Travel Talk Radio host. "We are delighted to talk about this immense project and how it came to be."
