TravelTalkMEDIA Announces
Launch of the Official Website of the
Africa Peace Caravan

(November 27, 2008 San Diego, California) – CelestiaLINK, LLC, parent company of TravelTalkMEDIA, Radio and TV, announced today the launch of the official Africa Peace Caravan Web site.

The Web site, developed by TravelTalkMEDIA, follows the 2008-2009 Africa Peace Caravan on its journey throughout Africa to promote peace and freedom on the African continent as it wends its way to the next Annual Congress of the Africa Travel Association (ATA) to be held in Cairo in May, 2009.  The idea for the caravan was inspired by the work of the African Travel Association whose vision it is to "Bring the world to Africa and Africa to the world."

The recent departure of the caravan from Arusha, Tanzania on November 14, 2008 signified the official start
and first phase of the peace journey. Arusha was chosen as the starting point for the caravan because it served as the site of the 2008 ATA Congress. The caravan will initially travel to Djibouiti where additional plans are being made for the second phase of the peace trek.

Beginning again in April 2009, the caravan will resume its journey and chart a course through Ethiopia, Sudan and, finally, Egypt. Like the ideal of the Olympic Torch, the convoy of buses and vehicles in the Peace Caravan buses will travel across the Africa continent carrying the symbolic Peace Flag along the way. The Peace Caravan will arrive in Cairo on 15 May 2009, to coincide with the start of the 34th Annual Africa Travel Association Congress

Sandy Dhuyvetter, Executive Producer and Host of TravelTalkMEDIA, RADIO and TV said, “We are honored to work with such a worthy cause and we are very impressed with the tenacity and  the dedication shown by the organizer, Ali Liaquat”  Ms Dhuyvetter, who spearheaded the Web development team and leads to effort in generating media attention for the caravan, added, “As information about the progress of the caravan comes in from the African highways and roads, we will share it with our audiences and the travel industry through updates at the Africa Peace Caravan Web site, press releases and on our weekly Newsletter at TravelTalkMEDIA”.
