Tanzania National Parks Signs Agreement
With Sandy Dhuyvetter and TravelTalkMEDIA
to Create TV Commercial

(August 23, 2008 – San Diego, CA) Sandy Dhuyvetter, Executive Producer and Host of TravelTalkMEDIA, RADIO and TV, announced today that TTM will produce a television commercial and magazine advertisements aimed at promoting the Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA).

The commercial will be aired on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and the advertisements will be featured in Airguide Publications, Inc. and the Holland Herald Magazine. Insertions and broadcasting of the ads will take place in the next year during a six-month campaign.

“We are honored and delighted to be working with such a dynamic organization as TANAPA in promoting the natural beauty, wildlife and people within Tanzania’s national parks system to international audiences,” said Dhuyvetter. “With approximately one-fourth of the country set aside as natural parks for conservation and preservation, TANAPA has a huge responsibility to both the people of Tanzania and citizens of the world which it carries out diligently and professionally. The national parks of Tanzania are one of our planet’s most unique and wondrous treasures and truly something we hope everyone will be able to visit and experience. Our goal will be to get people to put the national parks of Tanzania high up on their list of destinations to visit.”

The commercial will highlight some of the country’s many natural wonders, including Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain and the Serengeti National Park. The commercial and advertising will emphasize the uniqueness and wonder of the safari experience, including night safaris, walking safaris and safaris by boat and balloon.

The spectacular Serengeti migration, which the TravelTalkMEDIA crew captured on camera while visiting the country recently, will also be shown. The year-round Serengeti migration is one of the most well known animal migrations in the world and about 10 months of this awe inspiring event occur within the borders of Tanzania.

In addition to showcasing the vast diversity of the animal life, the people of the Tanzania National Parks will play a significant role in the TV commercial, including the indigenous people of the region, the Massai, and the local game wardens.

In addition to the footage filmed by the TravelTalkMEDIA crew showcasing the beautiful lodges of the region will also be shown in the commercial and native Tanzanian music will be featured.

About TANAPA - The Tanzanian Parks Authority (TANAPA) was created in 1959 to oversee the growing roster of national parks within the country. There are currently 15 National Parks maintained and administered by TANAPA: Arusha, Gombe, Katavi, Kilimanjaro, Kitulo, Lake Manyara, Mahale, Mikumi, Mkomazi, Ruaha, Rubondo, Serengeti, Tarangire and Udzungwa. The National Parks constitute approximately 25% of the total land area of Tanzania. No hunting is allowed in the National Parks and all flora and fauna are offered total protection. Tanzania National Parks is a parastatal organization meaning that it operates as a fully self-financing governmental entity completely without any governmental subsidy. Every cent a visitor spends in park fees goes back to the protection and maintenance of the National Parks system. TANAPA's highest body is its Board of Trustees and the Director General of the organization is Mr. Gerald Bigurube.
